there are many people who don't use traditional phones, or maybe don't have acces to 911 or other important numbers, what do you think about setting up online 911 systems through online companies, such as yahoo, or etc...What do you think?
If someone needed you to call 911 or a federal agent on line through the use of a social networking site?
it is a good idea, but it sounds like it may be easily misused either by accident or purposefully.
Reply:would not work because standard 911 services, especially on cell phones, can pinpoint your location in the event of an emergency where you cant talk
ip addresses are much harder to trace, and no everyone has access to 911, it's free on any payphone or phone or cell phone
