Have you changed since high school?

Thanks to online social networking sites, I've been able to reconnect with many of my HS friends (I'm 27 now). Some people seem like they haven't changed at all, in fact it's hard to hang out with some of the same people now. I feel like everything about me has changed so much from 10 years ago--hopefully for the better. Are you the same, or completely different now? Is it good thing to change so much?

Have you changed since high school?
I'm almost 51 years old and I've changed just in the last 3 years! :) I've done things I never thought in my life I'd do...like white water rafting and jet skiing, random road trips. I used to have to really plan before even going out for the evening...mentally plan and prepare that is. I'd sort of freak if something spur of the moment came up. Then I met my thrill seeking husband! :) My kids have told me I'm much different than I used to be...more relaxed and much more happy...happier than they've ever seen me in their lives.

I'm a world apart from what I was as a teenager. Being across the country and in different countries and meeting all sorts of people has really helped me to grow I think. And of course just marriage and motherhood, and adulthood in general. It's not all been fun along the way...some has and some hasn't, but it's all definitely good! :) I'm much less self-centered than I used to be too I think.
Reply:I look the same, but mentally I am not. I am 25 now and a lot of people from my year still hang out together, I know where to find them (if I wanted to that is)
Reply:I havent changed since primary school , let alone high school. I don't mind. Yeah Ive grown up, learnt a lot, done lots of different things, but essentially I am the same person physically, morally, and emotionally that I always was. Its about being true to yourself - thats important.

What is that saying "give me a child until he is seven, and I will give you the man" - you can always watch that show (7-up Britain) to see how people do or don't change - its an eye opener.
Reply:Its been one year since i've been out of HS and i have changed in so many ways ! Alot of my Hs friends have changed also ! your priorities totally change !
