There are some great social networks / online communities for musicians as well as models and photographers, but I'm looking for some sites where I can interact with other painters.
What is the most hip online community for fine arts people (painters, sculptors, etc)?
I am a great follower of www.wetcanvas.com for a great cross section of art types, locals, and ability ranges.
Reply:I'm on deviantART. I think it's pretty hip. I like being able to upload my images and get critiques and give critiques to others. There are plenty of resources there too, such as tutorials, tips, tricks, advice, as well as lots of stock art for reference.
Reply:You should try deviant art, they have all sorts of stuff for artsy there. Artwork, photography, modeling, literature...
You can also upload some of your works there and get feedback. :)

go to www.conceptart.org It's a forum style website where people from all walks post their work and comment on others. There's lots of tutorials and inspirational stuff. They give honest meaninful advice.
