Are any of you members of a religious online community?

Just wondering if anyone is also a member of a social network or online community.


I've seen this one for "adults over 40" and seniors, but not sure if there are others out there too.

Are any of you members of a religious online community?
I am a member of several online communities of faith. Most of them have to do with my job in youth ministry. One is through my denomination. I find that a lot of forums and boards meant for Christians are "trolled" by unbelievers who harass and annoy people who are there for real Christian interaction. I tend to stay away from chat sites, as trolls are inevitably there.

Reply:Yes. There are several Hindu communities which I am a member of.
Reply:Well there's this site, and since I spend all my time in RnS I guess you could say I'm part of an online religious community.





I'm also a member of Healers and Seekers - a Yahoo Groups group, who send me emails. I have yet however to send any emails myself.





Also, while I am not a member yet, I spend quite a lot of time in the Golden Dawn websites, researching occultism, Gnostisim, Kaballah etc... One day I may choose to join and be allowed access to the Hermetics.

Reply:Yes. I am part of a wonderful group of Christian Moms who also have careers. We pray and support one another through schooling (many are also juggling college as well), childrearing, difficult husbands (or ex-husbands), bad bosses, and our difficulties and concerns for friends and family who need help. They are my sanity check sometimes.
