Problem Please?

I'm 16, average guy.

So I met this friend online on a social network randomly and it has almost been a month. We like to talk to each other and it is my birthday next week. She asked me for my mailing address so she can send me something as I live in Canada and she lives in America.

I'm still wondering if i should. I need some help. If I give it to her, what can she possibly do with it? Can I be in danger of any kind? Please, I don't know what to do. Declining it wouldn't be nice, but I don't want to cause any problems. Please help. Thank you.

Problem Please?
i wouldnt do it

she will no where u live and u only talked online

you didnt actually meet in person and that kind of trust isent there just tell her to give u an e-card or smting
Reply:hey,

like you said i dont think by having your address she can harm you or anything but the thing you really need to worry about it if shes really who she says she is i mean to be on the safe side i wouldn't give it to her. and im 15 so i think we'll have the same perspective on this but good luck let me know if you need any other help
Reply:NEVER give out personal information out on the internet. As much as you like this person you never kno, it is so easy for some weird creep to act like a nice, innocent girl and trick you. The person could black mail you! THAT'S scary! It's just not a smart thing to do. Tell her you would feel more comfortable if she send you a e-card or something over the computer because you dont like giving out personal info. Hope this helps. Be safe. Good luck.
