Is she cheating?

I think my girlfriend is interested in someone else, she keeps in touch with a girl online and has added her on all social networking sites.





She told a friend she 'fancies the pants off' this girl. She doesn't know I know this.





I've said I dont like her being friends with this random stranger and asked if she would stop communicating with her. She agreed for 2 weeks and then said I was trying to control her.





I backed down and said that she can speak to her and it's her choice to choose keeping in contact with someone she has never met over making her girlfriend of seven years feel uncomfortable. She consistently denies to me that she has any feelings for this girl.





She is now emailing this girl almost daily, I find it really upsetting. I cant confront her as I found out by snooping..I havent read the emails, but I have seen proof that it is happening. I dont know if I should trust her, I find it odd she would go to such lengths to keep in touch with a stranger.


What should I do?

So you think your girlfriend is going to leave you to be with another female? If that's where her heart truly lies then there's not much you can do. You can't control her or force her to be with you. Perhaps it's just a thought that she's having but may never act upon it. If you really want the answers you need to ask her. However be prepared to get answers that you may not want. If you don't think you can deal with her talking to this stranger as you put it then perhaps you need to move on and let her go. It sounds like you're stressing out over the whole situation and therefore you need to make the decision to either hang in there and see what happens or let her and the relationship go.

Reply:I am going through this same thing with a guy that I have been with for 5 years.. He is on myspace with 5 different women and I only know one of them. I told him it was disrespectful to me and he said I am trying to control him. I am trying to get past this but he is trying to hold his ground and not even compromising with me. Furthermore, when I found it his status was single! I am trying to work through this with him because of the history we have but I am keeping my eyes open for Mr. Right. Sorry I could'nt help. They dont have ay expectations to try and live up too, they dont have to act a certain way, etc. My fiance %26amp; I went through something similar very recently. I met a girl on myspace [[through a mutual friends page]] and I was constantly texting her, leaving her comments, etc. I even told my fiance that I didnt want her to come to the beach with me and my new friend. I was NOT cheating on my fiance... I had just found a great friend whom I felt comfortable with. I moved to NJ from DE and didnt have any friends really, so I was so excited to be able to hang out with a friend alone and just chill. But before I met her is when I was doing all the txting etc. My fiance thought that something was going on... maybe not cheating, but at least flirting and it just simply wasn't. Maybe your gf just feels like this girl is a great person and could become a best friend! The only way u'll know for sure is if you talk to your gf and let her know how you are feeling. Good Luck!
Reply:Dont try to control her at all because it'll backfire, talk to her and ask if she would ever cheat on you, tell her you would never cheat on her.





I think you should try to be more open, she might just want a little thrill. either way you should let her know its bothering you and although you trust her you just want some proof that shes not doing anything behind your back.
